Page Overview - Cost Allocation

  1. Purpose of Page
    Where the cost breakdown page allocates all billing point costs according to usage through the entire hierarchy, the cost allocation page allows for custom internal energy cost allocation according to your organisation's specific requirements. 
    This page is only available once a custom setup has been done. In order for this to be done, please contact support@augos.io. One of our team members will then be in contact to discuss your specific needs and make arrangements for the setup to be done. 

    Note, this page should not be used for Tenant Billing.  For tenant billing, the full tariff charges should be applied to each tenants main points, instead of apportioning the total cost to the tenant points.

  2. Point Selector
    Only points that have been set up for for Cost Allocation will be visible in the point selector. 

  3. Date Selector
    Due to the nature of utility type billing, this page allows for 2 date ranges:
    1. Calendar Month
      This allows you to easily look at any full calendar month.
    2. Billing Period
      In order to view a billing period that mirrors your utility account, a Billing Periods need to be created on the bill verification page.
      Once the period has been created, it will appear as an option on the cost allocation page. 

  4. 3 Dot Menu
    The 3 Dot menu next to the date selector will allow you to:
    1. Navigate to our data download modal, giving you the option of downloading your preferred data.
    2. Download a Cost Allocation PDF file, for the point and period selected.

  5. Cost Allocation Chart & Table
    1. Cost Allocation Bar Chart
      This chart provides a quick visual reference to the allocation that is then further broken down in the below table. 

    2. Cost Allocation Table Data 
      This table provides a list view of every allocation point, and when expanding each of those you are able to see each line item on the relevant allocation tariff with the allocation data. 
      The following information is displayed:
      1. Collapsed View
        1. Consumption (kWh)
        2. Peak Demand (kVA)
        3. Cost (ZAR)
        4. Adjustment (ZAR)
        5. Allocation (ZAR)
      2. Expanded View 
        1. Units - The measured units.
        2. Unit - The unit of measure for each measurement.
        3. Cost/Unit (ZAR) - Unit Cost
        4. Cost (ZAR) - Total Cost
