State Sensors

State Sensors

  1. What Are State  Sensors
    1. State sensors on the other hand have 2 or possibly 3 readings. For example, door open/closed. Smoke sensor Triggered/Safe. A default and triggered state can be selected in order to set up triggers for critical state sensing points.
      1. Instantaneous sensors on the other hand are devices tracing measurement over time, providing trends and the ability to set upper and lower thresholds of expected readings.
  1. Sensor Data
    1. Collapsed View (Default)
This is a quick summary view of every sensor, for the period being viewed.
      1. Measurement Point
        The specific sensor name
      2. Current State
The last measured state, and the date and time of that reading
      3. Time in Breach
Total time that the sensor was not compliant
      4. Time Compliant
Total time that the sensor was compliant
      5. Event Count
The number of state changes for the selected period.
      6. Compliance Timeline
This bar chart provides a timeline of compliance, indicating green where the sensor readings were compliant, and red where the readings were not compliant.

    2. Expanded View
When further investigation into a specific sensor is required, clicking on the "+" in the coloured block on the left hand side of the row will expand the row to provide more detailed data.
This view gives all the information available in the Collapsed View, plus these additional readings:
      1. Top line Readings
Where applicable, these readings have a bar chart indicating the thresholds that have been set for this sensor, and where the actual reading is in relation to the thresholds.
        1. Last Breach
Date and Time of the last non compliant reading that was received.
        2. Longest Breach
Longest continuous period that the sensor reading was non compliant

      2. Compliance Bar Chart
This bar chart provides a timeline of compliance, indicating green where the sensor readings were compliant, and red where the readings were not compliant.

      3. Trend Chart
This chart maps out all readings, providing a trend for the selected period.
