Page Overview - Triggers

  1. Purpose of Page
    The Triggers function allows users to create custom alerts for any device, in order for the system to send the user a notification once the specified parameter measures outside the specified conditions. 
    Notifications are sent via:
    1. Augos App
    2. Email
    3. SMS
    4. WhatsApp

  2. Point Selector
    No Point selector is available on this page. All current triggers that the user has access to will be visible when opening the triggers module. 
    A search function is available in the blue bar, on the left hand side, to allow the user to search existing triggers. 

  3. Date Selector
    No Date selector is available on this page. 

  4. Existing Triggers
    1. All existing triggers that the user has access to will be listed when entering the page. 
    2. A search function is available in the blue bar, on the left hand side, to allow the user to search existing triggers.
    3. On the right hand side of existing triggers will be 3 navigation options: 
      1. "Edit" Pencil Icon 
        This opens the Add/Edit modal and allows the user to change the trigger parameters as required. 
      2. "Delete" Bin Icon 
        This deletes the trigger completely
      3. 3 Dot Menu
        These sub menu options are: 
        1. Edit
          Opens the Add/Edit modal and allows the user to change the trigger parameters as required. 
        2. Advanced Settings 
          Opens the Advanced Settings modal and allows the user to change the trigger advanced parameters as required. 
        3. Manage Notifications 
          All users with access to this device that is linked to the trigger, will be listed here. Each users notification preferences can be individually set. 
          Notification options are: 
          1. Augos App
          2. Email
          3. SMS
          4. WhatsApp
        4. Suspend Tigger 
          This disables the trigger, without deleting it completely.
        5. Delete Trigger
          This deletes the trigger completely



  5. Adding New Triggers 
    To add a new trigger, navigate to the "Add New Trigger" Icon in the blue bar, on the left hand side. 
    1. Basic Triggers
      The available Parameters and Conditions will be based on the type of measurement point that has been selected. 
      The input fields are: 
      1. Description
        What you would like to call the trigger.
      2. Measurement Point
        Choose from all the measurement points that you have access to. 
      3. Parameter 
        This is measurement type specific, but in all cases will be the metric that needs to be tracked. 
      4. Condition 
        This is also measurement type specific, and will be the limits set for the parameter. 
        So if the parameter moves outside the set conditions, a trigger alert will be sent. 



    2. Advanced Triggers
      This allows users to create more complex triggers, based on custom time constraints and multiple conditions.
